I randomly came here one day when I was desperate for a hair change and it was an absolutely amazing decision. It was made absolutely sure that my stylist and I were on the same page about what I wanted/what would look good/what would make me feel most comfortable everyone was extremely sweet and they are very good people. Service was amazing. My color came out beautiful and I left with an incredible amount of confidence. I switched my haircut place to here because they really made me feel so good throughout the whole experience and they killed it with that too!!! Thank you Hair Lab Salon ❤️

Truly professional and great careful listeners, it took me over 30 years to find someone who knew how to cut my hair right. Both Erick and Richie know how to work with hair! I’ve come here for the past 3 years and will never go anywhere else. Somewhere between a barber shop feel and salon; The atmosphere is refreshingly relaxing, with good music and street art on the walls, they undoubtably appreciate art here and it shines through in their own work and artistry with hair. Upon walking through the doors at the Hair Lab Salon, I felt that I was transcended into a clean, artsy and relaxed environment. I made my appointment online (super easy) and went for a wash, cut and curled style! Richie, my stylist of almost 8 years, is always sure to give me exactly what I ask for. I showed him some pictures of the blow out and curls I wanted. It was a special day for me as I celebrated my wedding anniversary. Richie, thank you for the beautiful cut and curls, it was exactly what I asked for! I felt extra beautiful on my anniversary evening!

I started going to Erick at the hair lab over two years ago when I lived in east Norwalk. I used to go to great clips/super cuts because of the cost but got tired of the haircuts being hit or miss. I tried out a few local places around east Norwalk but hair lab was by far my favorite. Clean inside with good music and better staff. My hair is straight and super thin (I’ve never have loved how it looks) but Erick gave me a nice taper and scissor trim on top. It was the best haircut I had had and I’ve continued going to him through the pandemic and after moving to Bridgeport. Highly recommend.

I went there for hair color and booked an appointment with Ana for balayage. Got red and purple done on my hair and she did a good job. But I believed that color would stay on for at least few months just like any other time but to my surprise and an unpleasant one, I started seeing the bleach hair before even 1 month was completed. I understand fading and color getting lighter over a period of couple of months but starting to see bleach hair within a month!? I even followed the guidelines of washing hair with cold water and in fact after the treatment I reduced the number of times I washed my hair to once a week as for 2 weeks after coloring I saw color was getting washed away. I didn’t think for the amount of money paid to get this done, it will not even stay for couple of months.
