They were nice and let me in short notice, however, I asked for them to fade in the top and instead it looks more like a bowl cut. Also I asked the top to be cut and I don’t think they took anything off, and if they did it wasn’t near as much as I asked for. As shown in the picture there was very little effort put into the transition. I see they have done good work for alot of people and I’m sure they usually do a great job, but I can’t say I’m not a little disappointed about the money I spent here.

Such a cute business and they offer so many services! I tried out this business a couple of weeks ago since my old hairstylist is now 35 minutes away. I got my hair bleached, but the top turned out orange/a dark gold while the rest of my hair is really light blonde. I’m not too mad about that though because I could’ve asked the hair stylist to fix it and chose not to, but I am probably going to get it fixed soon. The most upsetting thing though is that the back of my shirt was bleached also, so I had to throw it away.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this salon. My stylist, Sierra, was cold and standoffish. She didn’t introduce herself to me or even say more than one word at a time. I was trying to tell her what I wanted and she kept cutting me off. I tried to be friendly and talk with her but it seemed like she was ignoring me. She did a terrible job with my hair. When I tried to give her feedback or ask for a small change, she just got defensive and snapped at me. This happened 3 times. Then at the end of the appointment she said “this is good right? Because I have another client.” I felt so unwelcome and left hating my hair. I am probably going to have to go to another salon to fix it. I do not recommend this salon and I especially advise everyone to avoid Sierra because she will ruin your hair and treat you terribly.

Whitney has always bent over backward to make sure she can fit me in when it works for my crazy schedule. I’m always so pleased with my hair afterward and if there is ever an issue, she is quick to make it right. We love the service and the people at 4th Street Salon.
