I went today for just 2 French braids, on the phone I was told $50 when she was done she told me $70. My part is crooked and they look sloppy. I still have a $10 tip because I value peoples time. I get French braids often in the summer to avoid styling my hair. I usually go to another shop but she was booked due to it being a holiday weekend. I wish regardless of who the client is people didn’t take advantage, and took pride in their work.

I’ll say all the woman at this shop knows how to braid, but Raky don’t do the braids as you request, she does them the way she wants, and will get upset with you if you tell her they aren’t the way you wanted. So if you want something detailed don’t go to Raky.

First my hair was too short for micros. I had my own hair and just wanted small braids.. She said she couldn’t do it. Then she said I can do it for $230. Then she said $250. At that point I left. At that price if “one” of them would have fallen out, I would have flipped out. She’s great on repeating customers apparently…just not for me

I was only able to keep my braids for around two weeks and they looked as if I had them for three months and started coming out as well. I would say if you do go there don’t have Raky her self do them unless you get micros or some feedins, but never box braids. Go to the other girl that does braids inside of the shop.

If you just want the basic 8 braids then their good but if you have a specific hair style then run! I don’t care what picture you show them your going to get micro braids and still pay full price. Long story short they don’t do styles. I ended up with nice neat braids but nothing like I requested. BTW Raky doesn’t braid there anymore but maybe she should start bc they use to to be great but not anymore.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctualityi was told my appointment was for 930am. turns out that three other ppl were told the same appointment time. the person who eventually showed up to do my hair came in after 10 am. Very unprofessional got smart with me because I came back to get several braids redone after just six days of having them in. Than charged me 200$ when I brought my own hair will not use again. Braids

They did a bad job and were unprofessional. The even cute my ends wrong and still charged me full price. They even almost got into a fight and kept going out to smoke whole I waited in the car. I was there12hrs. Just for big box braids that did look good.
