Beth Manning was able to provide me with an excellent session to help me overcome a hip injury following a bike crash. Much more holistic than either massage or physical therapy on their own, Beth’s treatment has helped my brain and muscles to start working together properly again to allow me to ride and walk pain free. I would highly recommend Beth to any cyclist.

Beth treats pain more holistically than I have experienced from Physical Therapy visits. Working with Beth makes me a very active participant in understanding how to modify my movement patterns that may be the underlying cause of my pain. I have had lasting improvement by working with Beth. This method of body work — Neuro Muscular Reprogramming has been the most effective method of reducing acute and chronic pain for me compared to physical therapy.

Amazing! Uplifting! God send! These are a few words and thoughts that will come out of your mouth after spending time with Beth. I’m a former Marine and adventure athlete who has abused my body in the worst ways. I’ve traveled the country looking for Doctors, chiropractors or any other body healer to help alleviate the pain. A few have helped in the short term but never with lasting results.

Beth Manning is an excellent practitioner. She was able to release my shoulder on the first attempt. She continues to work on and make progress on my hip flexor muscles and my lumbar spine, both chronic and acute areas. If you are committed to healing I strongly recommend Breakaway Bodyworks !!

I have been working with Beth for almost three years during which I have had numerous reconstructive surgeries following breast cancer treatment. In addition to keeping me moving, the work has addressed many issues including TMJ pain, lower back weakness, and neck weakness. Beth’s knowledge of neuromuscular functioning and of the techniques she uses is outstanding. In spite of numerous challenges, I have been able to get stronger and play golf throughout the time she has treated me. I have benefited from the exercises she has shown me and have confidence that I can continue to improve. I am extremely grateful that I found Beth’s practice and I highly recommend her work.

I’ve been working with Beth for a year now and always know that I will receice a professional and friendly service. As a pro cyclist, my needs can vary and I find that Beth can always provide what I need, whether that be a flush or some more serious bodywork. Beth is a fantastic massage therapist with a great understanding of the demands of an athlete.

I would highly recommend Beth to anybody who has nagging injuries and can’t find relief. It’s not like a traditional massage where one lays on a table and gets massaged, rather, Beth works to find which individual muscles are causing problems through inflammation or imbalance and correct the problem through changing the movement.

Came to Beth after two years of increasing leg issues/pain. Started with knee pain and had gotten to really tight hamstrings and the feeling that my muscles were working at cross purposes just to walk. A cycling friend had met her at a race, and recommended that I check her out. Medical profession had completely let me down — “ you have arthritis… come get a shot when the pain is really bad.”

Beth knows just what to manipulate, activate and release along with massage for my optimal sport performance and movement. With tips and tricks for me to do in between our sessions she has helped improve and maintain my body’s ability to move correctly for me daily and in my cycling life.

I starting seeing Beth after living with SI joint pain for many years. I tried dozens of different types of bodywork professionals with little or no results. Her business card may say LMT, but she is so much more than a massage therapist. She works to find the source of your pain and heal your body. I have the highest respect for her knowledge genuinely recommend her to anyone who is hurting.
