Julia is brilliant! She is the best at what she does. Greatest hair cut, styling, and color. I recommend getting a semi-perm gloss before every haircut. It gives your hair color an upgrade – vibrant and sleek while still maintaining a natural look – plus hair is shiny and soft! She’s incredible I can’t recommend Julia enough. I make special trips to the states just to see her. Great experience coming to the salon. The staff is great and as I tell my friends it’s like I am there just hanging out with friends and get to leave feeling fresh and confident…Julia is the best

Sam gave me a great haircut and great blowout. I have very curly hair, damaged from over-bleaching and quite thin AND thinning. A lot to contend with. He gave me a style for the night that made everyone at the party gasp in delight. So. Good. And then when I went back to my natural curls I used one of his tips for calming the cuticle and it really worked AND the new cut he gave me looked fantastic with my curls. Top notch hair dresser. And the lovely kind Victor helped set me up with Sam and settle in when got there. A great team and lovely salon. Strong recommend for Planet Salon and especially Sam.

I’ve been going to Planet Salon for about 6 years. My first hairstylist moved on a few years ago so now I’m with Julia. She’s the sweetest and very good at her job. The service is always top notch, never had an issue. I do miss the scalp massage w/essential oils and hand massage during hair wash – suspended during Covid. I thought those little things really elevated the whole experience of getting a haircut. Julia will still give you a short scalp massage while washing your hair. I find that heavenly. Plus you can purchase the products they use right there and then.

The stylists are skilled professionals and the owner of the salon cares a great deal about her clientele as well as training her employees to give great customer service. I’ve been a client for more than a decade, have lost stylists on occassion to them moving on to the next place in life, but the care and skill remains top notch through those changes. Hey! Please do not go see Kayla for anything but balayage – that’s what she is advertised as being good at – but the front desk told me she was adept at cutting hair! She did not do what I asked and instead created her own interpretation of what she thought would look ideal. My hair is now choppy, thin and uneven. Hairstyling
