I have followed her from the different salons that she worked at because of how good she is. Always professional and up to date with the latest styles and techniques. We have developed a great friendship over the years. I travel over 30 minutes to get my hair done every six weeks and I would travel longer if I had to. Very happy to see her business grow and love her new location. Michelle and Maria have been partners for years and work great together. Maria has been working on my hair for the last 25 + years. I have followed her from the different salons that she worked at because of how good she is. Always professional and up to date with the latest styles and techniques. We have developed a great friendship over the years. At the same time I was debating on whether or not to embrace my gray hair and I was looking to find someone who specialized in color (as I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to do). I Googled “color specialists” in my area and the Colour Bar came up. After reading reviews I decided to try them! Michelle was my stylist. We spent a long time discussing what I was looking for and after agreeing on something she got to work! I was SO SO pleased with her color choices for me and the cut she gave me was phenomenal! I have curly hair and she cut it better than any cut I have ever had! She totally gets curly hair! At the same time I was debating on whether or not to embrace my gray hair and I was looking to find someone who specialized in color (as I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to do). Maria has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I made the appointment I knew I had found THE PLACE! You know the one I’m talking about ladies. The place where you can confidently walk in knowing you will walk out with that BAM I-just-got-the-best-damn-hair-cut-of-my-life and know you look good. Yes, that one. Marie took her time getting to know me on the phone, took down my email, asked lots of questions, was engaging, friendly, informative, kind, smart, and made me feel like I was her most important client. But it didn’t end there. She asked me to send her some inspiration pictures and then sent feedback right away with her ideas and how it would work with my hair. What?!? Talk about dedication to her craft! I usually fly out to California to get my hair done but those days are over.
