Over the course of the last few years I have seen a few different hair stylists. Although I would consider myself extremely picky with the way I like my hair colored / styled, I was ultimately searching for a stylist who really listened to what I wanted as well as what I didn’t want. I was referred to Beth by a good friend and needless to say she met all of my expectations and even surpassed them. January 2023 was my first visit to Salon La Mae and not only Beth but all of the other stylists made me feel at home and treated me as if i’ve been going there for years. For the first 15 minutes of my appointment, Beth really listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure there was no confusion / miscommunication before even starting my hair. As someone who gets really anxious about change, this made me feel really comfortable. Beth made sure I knew exactly what she was doing to my hair at all times and even reassured me that if there was something I didn’t like, she could fix it without a problem. I have been getting my hair done since middle school, and I can honestly say I have never been this happy with the outcome of my hair! Beth demonstrated patience and kindness while my time at Salon La Mae and I will definitely be going back next time! From an extremely picky client, I would 10/10 recommend Beth to anyone! Express your thoughts and feelings to her because she truly cares!

I am new to the area from out of state and I was overdue, very much overdue a complete overhaul, haircut, style, color/highlights! Well I did use google and many salons came up, but something other than the consistent high reviews led me to chose this salon. I would call it instinct:) Well I can say it’s the happiest and most transformative haircut and experience I’ve had at any salon and I’ve been to a lot, all over the US and Europe. Beth was the transformer! She is a master stylist! She even went out of her way to ask for photos of what I was working with and looking for well in advance so I felt like we had a plan before I even got there, which made me feel very confident and relaxed. She took her time, nothing was rushed and she made sure I left not just happy but I am over the moon with my new style. She took years off me with a shaggy lob and highlights! I am a fan and client for life! Thank you so much Beth! All the staff Reilly and Pam were super friendly and welcoming. I felt like I had a day out with the girls. Great experience. The other clients were very happy and friendly regulars. I can see why! Looking forward to my next appointment already! Did I mention I also got a lift home afterwards, I live very very close, but still, talk about going above and beyond for a client!
