Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueAfter 5 or so times pointing out how uneven my cut was, and only kept getting worse I gave up paid and left.. sad part is I sincerely can cut my own hair straighter than Joe did and so very disappointed. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWas in my old neighborhood today and my 7 year son needed a haircut. We usually go to another barber (who also does great work) but the wait was a little too long for us today. Decided to give this place a try. Walked right in. Joe was very patient, kind and precise. Most places insist on using the clipper (which my son hates) but Joe knew his way around a haircut without it being a super complicated process like we usually deal with at chain haircut places. Plus he gave my son a quarter for the candy machine and a cup to catch the candy. When we left my son said that was the only barber he liked – and we have only been there once!! Was in my old neighborhood today and my 7 year son needed a haircut. We usually go to another barber (who also does great work) but the wait was a little too long for us today. Decided to give this place a try. Walked right in. Joe was very patient, kind and precise. This is not just a haircut. Joe’s Barbershop is a modern version of the old time social experience that my grandfather loved about getting his haircut. You go in and as he cuts hair, Joe encourages everyone to be at home and talk. You learn from the other patrons and from Joe’s wide range of interesting things to talk about. You are welcome to speak up, or not however seems good to you. The other places may have big screens or wine and cheese. Joe’s has good hometown people who are fun to talk to and all the sports you need on the TVs to talk about. I look forward to talking to you at the barbershop!
