My first salon visit in Houston and it was great! Tori took care of me and she was amazing. Super friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. I have medium long, fine and curly hair so I need lots of layers that won’t get weighed down. Tori understood and delivered. I had a great time and will be back! The salon and everyone there were very nice. I enjoyed my visit.

Just moved to Houston after having the same stylist in Boston for 15 years…to say I was nervous about someone new highlighting and cutting my hair is an understatement. But I got so incredibly lucky when I selected Jamie at The Upper Hand Royal Oaks (from her outstanding reviews and examples of her work on Instagram @jamiereelsstylist). She did such an awesome exceptional amazing job that I can honestly say my hair has never been as even-toned, bright, healthy and just so beautiful as it is now that Jamie is my girl. If you’re a blonde, Jamie is the absolute best. I never write reviews like this but she is a true artist and if you need your blonde to be the bomb (whatever your definition of that is) Jamie will listen, earn your trust, and make you feel as awesome as your hair looks!

Cherise did such an amazing job on my balayage! She is super knowledgeable about the process and really listens to your preferences and wants! My balayage has never looked better I’m thrilled! As for my haircut, probably the best haircut I’ve gotten. She used different techniques to get my desired style and took her time to make sure I was happy the entire time! Couldn’t recommend Cherise or this salon enough!

I love my stylist Cherise! I visit Cherise at the Upper Hand salon Royal Oaks every 5 weeks and am never disappointed. She goes above and beyond each and every time to make sure I’m happy. She was the first stylist that recommended a different cut for me after I’d been wearing my hair the same for years. It is perfection for me and I get so many compliments now on the hairstyle. I don’t know what I would do without Cherise!

I have been having my hair colored and cut at this location for more than a year. My stylist is Cherise. I wanted to let my hair go gray and at the same time keep some color. She was an expert at figuring that out. She also knew how to cut my hair in a way that was flattering. She is so pleasant and professional. I highly recommend her.

Cherise is by far, an outstanding and experienced hair stylist. I have very thick, course, curly and unmanageable hair and Cherise not only gives me a great haircut every time, but she has also suggested numerous products for my hair that have been exceptional….which again, reflects her knowledge. I’ve been to several stylists looking for that perfect highlight job & Cherise nailed it! Why? Because she’s the only one that truly LISTENS to what you want. SO glad I found her….she’s a rare gem!
