With the new location opening in Clinton I was eager to give the salon a try; however, I had a terrible initial experience. I booked a balayage with Lindsey and a haircut with Sabina. Upon arriving to the hair appointment, I was informed that Lindsey was running late and did not arrive until about 20-30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. It would of been appreciated if the Salon could of given me a call before I arrived informing that Lindsey was going to be late, instead of having to wait on her at the Salon. While I waited, Sabina and Shannon were more then welcoming and accommodating in making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Once Lindsey arrived she did not treat me with the same gracious hospitality the other stylists did. Instead, I felt as though she was flustered and not focused on her job. We briefly discussed that I wanted a full balayage with beachy and warm tones and I was under the impression that she understood. Throughout the appointment she seemed scatter brained and that she kept loosing track of what she was doing, which is something nobody wants from a hair stylist. A few hours later I came out with a balayage that resembled work of a first year cosmetology student not a “skilled” professional. However, the salon has done an amazing job at fixing the mistake and making sure my hair is the way it originally should of been. I had an amazing experience with Sabina who thoroughly walked me through everything we were doing with my haircut and amazing experience with Shannon the front desk girl, who made sure my time at the salon was relaxing and comfortable. The last photo I attached shows the amazing work done by one of the Salons other stylists, Katie Cool. After my poor experience the owner reached out and was happy to have me come back in for a color correction done by a different stylist. Katie made me feel validated that it was more then okay I was not happy with my original balayage and that she was going to do everything she could to correct the past mistake. Katie was immediately more inviting and focused on me as a client, then Lindsey was. My corrected hair is beautiful and truly resembles how talented Katie really is! The owner did a great job in making sure the mistake was resolved and reached out extremely quickly. Although, it was handled professionally and quickly, it is a mistake that should have never been made in the first place. Anyone who is looking for an amazing balayage go book Katie!

The got back to me within 24 hours of my request for services on their website. My stylist, Lindsey, was so nice and walked me through the whole process of coloring my hair, answering all my questions. I was there for 5 hours and they were so professional, yet very fun! My hair has been dyed a lot the past couple of years and faced a lot of damage and discoloration that I wanted to get rid of. Lindsey took time to talk to me about my hair routine and what I could be doing differently to help it. She also suggested brands to use that work best with my hair. Lindsey really knows her stuff and did an awesome job on my hair. Sabina was my hair stylist and she is the kindest woman. She really cared about the health of my hair long term rather than trying to sell me random products. I just moved to the area during this week, so this was my first experience in Basking Ridge. I must say these women are absolute dolls. Sabina was my hair stylist and she is the kindest woman. She really cared about the health of my hair long term rather than trying to sell me random products. I really appreciate someone who is educated about hair rather than a salon salesperson.
