I have always enjoyed my visits to the North Liberty location but last night I happen to be in town and decided a trim was necessary. It was my first time meeting the new manager and having her tame my mane. For my very simple style (mid back length, stick straight, no layers, no fuss, ie i wash/condition, throw in leave-in on the ends and walk out the door to brush later and throw in a braid), she satisfied my every request. I may not “style” my hair but I am very picky how the final snip will lay. Her knowledge of product was top notch and she was able to recommend for my hair type from real references (if her mom is satisfied and has a very similar texture to mine, I’m going with mom). Overall enjoyable evening and look forward to my future trims.

Worst service ever! Signed in for a hair cut. Two people working! One dying someone’s hair, the other doing a hair cute. Waited 15 minutes. When the one who finished cutting hair, told me to wait for the other who was still dying hair for her customer! I left the shop and went to another business! It was not Cost Cutters! I will never go there again! I am tempted to call their corporate office! Worst employee’s ever!

I’ll admit that I was very hesitant to get my haircut here but I was pleasantly surprised with how great they were. My stylist was Chrstine. She has 10+ years of experience and made me feel comfortable chopping off my long hair for a cute stacked Bob! She is great. Honestly, I’d choose her over someone at a high dollar salon any day! Loved her and love my new hair! The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star review was because one girl was focused on dawdling until she was off instead of taking the next customer that came in for a quick trim.

The color didnt even reach my roots. So I called and I’m so happy I did! He fixed my color and my cut plus made my hair soft and shiney again! I’m loving the color!
