It’s very surprising that this business has been opened for 7 years. The service paid for was not rendered. Called to find a solution for the stylist rushing during the process and not properly styling the hair; nothing was offered or suggested. There was absolutely no accountability on their end. I finally found a salon I can become a regular customer. The online scheduling was an easy process, they will alert you by text and email about your appointment. The salon environment was calm and relaxing, the staff is very friendly. Kristina did an excellent job installing the boho locs in my hair. She was very professional, informed me there was a customer before me (I showed up 30 minutes early), was still seen on time, and took the time to explain the hair care process for my crochet hair style. I messed up and got the wrong length of hair, didn’t realize how long my hair was braided. Kristina made it work. I’ve received tons of compliments and will return in the future.

I am new in town & I went to see a stylist by the name of Meme that works at this salon. My experience was terrible. On the day of my original appointment she asked if I could push my time back or come the next day, I agreed to come the next day. Then the next day she was 30 minutes late even though she told me she was right behind me when I called and let her know I arrived. I paid her an additional $45 to color my extensions to an ash grey color & they ended up red, obviously she didn’t let it process long enough. She ended up not charging for the color because it was extremely wrong & I hated it. She does a TERRIBLE sew-in, it’s the worse one I’ve ever seen. The threading is extremely spaced out & just sloppy and the tracks were really spaced out. I could see the stockings cap she put under my closure exposed which isn’t how it should look. I contacted her & she claimed she would fix it & tighten my tracks. When I arrived she just added the little bit of hair I had left, tightened two or three tracks & just started doing other things. She didn’t say she was finished or didn’t offer an apology. I can’t believe she is a “professional” & does such awful work. The closure she installed was the only thing that looked good until it got wet. She needs to take sew-ins off her list of services, that was a waste of $265 and I feel like I got scammed. I bought hair from her with my service & the hair was awful as well, it’s soft to the touch but gets extremely tangled & matted. This was my first experience with a Maryland stylist & it was extremely disappointing.

I have maintained my locs for 7 1/2 years on my own and I was very nervous about letting someone else do my hair. I drove 2 1/2 hrs because I trusted NO ONE in my area. I had a few locs that had weak areas and needed to be re-attached. Krystina was very friendly, on-time, and repaired my locs exactly the way I wanted her to. (Also in a timely manner) She was very knowledgeable of locs, and I was very pleased with her work. Highly recommend.

Temple Hills location. Hair done by Krystina. Have plans to go back and take my family members. It’s hard to trust people in your hair that you dont know or haven’t been referred because people lie about their skills but she definitely knows what she is doing. I drive a hour and a half to get to her and will continue to go back.
