Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with Monik a few months ago. As you all probably know you have to book her 2-3 months in advance to get a facial. We clearly have to value her time, so you would think she would value her customers time as well. I showed up 15 min early for my appointment and waited in the hallway outside her salon. My appointment was from 4-5pm. Her doors were locked with a sign that said she was in an appointment. At 4:10pm I am getting a bit frustrated because I have had this appointment booked for over 2 months and I needed to leave afterwards as soon as my appointment was over because I have a family and also had plans that evening. I knock on the door at 4:10 and she lets me in, but is still with another client. At 4:20pm she apologizes and said this client came in late for their appointment before me and she still accepted them for their FULL HOUR just pushing my appointment back, without ZERO respect for my time and appointment. She should of ended that customers appointment at the time it was supposed to end. So she did not start my hour facial until 4:28pm. I’m trying to be polite at that point and let it go, despite being very annoyed and feeling disrespected of my time. I have a 2 and 5 year old, its not easy for me to get away for “Me time” – but this was booked 2 months out! I decide to try and enjoy my time there assuming that she will discount my facial considering she started 25 min late. NOPE. She finished with me at 5pm and still charged me for the full hour even though my facial barely was 30 min after she got all her lotions and cleaned up the prior customer. I could of argued but I decided to take the high road, pay in full and leave. She is getting the 1 star because the facial was just ok, but as for respect for clients time she had zero for me. I will not be back. There are thousands of salons and other skin care places with the same products who will be more considerate to their customers.
