I am surprised by the negative reviews. I prefer this salon for pedicures over the higher priced spas in Victor and pittsford. Long always does a great job with my pedicure. He is very neat, does not rush, and is pleasant to talk to, as is Cindy. My pedicure lasts for weeks. Pricing is very competitive. I definitely recommend.

This is by far the worst nail salon that I have ever been to. I left there practically in tears. I went in there for a simple manicure and left an hr and a half later with an awful manicure and 3 cuts. The first two cuts weren’t bad, just small little pricks, but the last one was awful. I had the gentleman and he literally gouged my cuticle, I just don’t understand how he did that. I have never had this happened to me before. He couldn’t get it to stop bleeding so he put some solution on it that hurt horribly, I was in so much pain my finger went numb. It’s still sore and swollen as I type this. He couldn’t even cut my nails right, he cut them all funky…they had jagged corners. I had to tell him that I wanted them rounded like normal fingernails. About 3/4ths of the way done the woman started yelling at him for taking so long on my nails, she was even telling her client that it has taken over an hour for him to do a simple manicure. This is not only very unprofessional but it made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. He started rushing after the lady yelled at him and did a horrible job on my french manicure. It looked awful. My husband could of done a better job! I have just never had such an awful experience at a salon. I came straight home and took the polish off, I was too embarrassed to walk around with nails that looked like a child did them. Beware of this nail salon. I choose this place after reading positive reviews but notice that they haven’t had any recent positive reviews. I just don’t want anyone to experience what I did there. Don’t waste your money here. You’ll leave in pain and with horrible looking nails.

My neighbor and I tried this salon because she was the only salon with openings this evening. I am a pedicure expert at this point in my life and this was AWFUL! Not only is it more expensive than all other salons in the greater Rochester area, we both had awful services performed. The owner did both of us. I’ll start with my pedicure. The water was scolding hot and she argued with me when I asked for it to be a little cooler. She then put some scrub on my legs and feet and barely rinsed it off, cut my toenails noticeably crooked, painted a lot of skin, and my feet are more dry than before I went in there. My friend got a full set. Cindy repeatedly nicked her with the electric file drawing blood, didn’t have her wash her hands at any point, then painted them sloppily and uneven. My 2 year old could have done a better job. I would also like to add that there are very alarming signs hanging around about children and extra charges for supplies because the state requires new files and brushes for every client…? Never seen that before. She also is cash only BUT has an actual ATM in the salon… Who has an ATM but not a card reader!? They have a smaller polish selection than I have at home. No hot towels. Dry towels used to half wipe my legs off… Very shady, very in inviting, very poor work! Go to V nail down the street!! Amazing selection quality and service! V nail not K nail!!!

Horrible place to go to. The lady that owns it does crappy work and is rude. My 17 year old daughter walked out of there crying because the lady was rude and started yelling at her when she asked to have one of her nails fixed. If my daughter wasn’t so adamant at leaving I would have gone off on the owners. Don’t know how they stay in business treating customers like that let alone a young girl. Stay away from this place and go somewhere where they at least know how to be polite.

I’ve gone to this place for almost a year now and the owner finally showed her true self. She is the rudest and most careless person alive. The way she treated me is not right and is just not fair. Instead of her just telling me to start pay the right amount of money (she would let me pay half the price I’m supposed to just bc I’m only 17 and she felt bad) like a normal human being she started to yell/swear at me. She screamed at me to get out and to never come back again. It’s was so disrespectful and a person like her shouldn’t own a business. Me and her had a really good relationship and she was always really friendly and nice to me, but today I don’t even know what happened. I guess people aren’t always how they seem to be. I strongly do not recommend going there at first you will probably say it’s fine but after a while the owner will get sick of you and just literally throw you out.

I’m a loyal customer enjoying the services at K’s nail for 15 years. If you’ve seen the movie “Steel Magnolias” then you understand –this is a gathering place with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Lots of regular customers. Colors galore!
