For years I lived in the Southwest and loved my sunshiny gold blonde highlighted hair. OK, I thought, I’ll take a chance and see whether I can find to get my hair singing “Here comes the sun” again!After 2 hours hours of research–given how challenging it is to locate a salon in a city you don’t know–I narrowed it down to . , the cheerful, positive, and knowledgeable receptionist assured me that was an amazing stylist and had a great deal of experience doing the type of highlights I prefer.On the day of the appointment, as Jessica made me a delicious frothy latte, I had the thought that I might back out of the highlights, might have only give me a cut and a blowout.As soon as I met , however, I could tell she was intelligent, astute, good-natured, competent, well-versed in current trends, and a great listener. It was clear she knows her stuff and cares about getting just the right results, as we discussed the pros and cons of types of highlight and shades and colors. made absolutely sure she understood what I was hoping for and WELCOMED my input and questions, and photos I’d brought. She also found it useful to know what I didn’t want.Before she started mixing up the colors, asked to see my ideal photo once more, so that she’d have that image right in her mind. And what happened….?Well… gave me literally the best highlights I’ve had for since 2017!I could not have asked for a better job. My hair went from drab, lank, and fuzzy-looking to shiny, sleek, sunshiny, silky, sparkly and SO pretty. cut off 2-3″ of dead ends and left me with a fun upbeat look with sweeping long face-framing bangs.A+++Thank you, and !Bonus the fact that Heather is a wonderful conversationalist and has a nice sense of humor. Also kudos to receptionist for keeping it unruffled, cheerful, and professional as she juggled a challenging day, and smilingly accommodated my getting caught in traffic–plus the yummy caramel latte! The place was immaculately clean, and the atmosphere comfortable and hip but not so hip to be scary. The owner, and the teams of stylists were all professional, kind, positive, and easygoing.
