To be honest this place seems uninterested in serving me. Always demotivated. Specially the older Asian male. I asked for bread trim. He used trimmer on lower neck. And then asked, all look good and he was done with that only. I had to tell him to cut the over grown side brows. He did that. Then I asked you haven’t touched the side part at all. Then he did that a bit. Overall I had to tell him in every 5 secs after that what needs to be done. He was cutting my bread like he is doing it for the first time. Pathetic. Could have said that he don’t know. Before he would make it much worst . I asked him that it’s great.

My stylist was Arthur, he was kind and thoughtful, took his time, went back at the end and added extra layers when I decided I wanted them– my difficult hair looks the best it has in years. I can’t say I’m disappointed with the Hair Cuttery because I didn’t have high expectations but overall I just did not have a good experience. My stylist was very aggressive so the hair wash was painful and anytime he found a knot in my hair he would not even attempt to detangle it he just ripped it out. On top of the experience being just painful overall I also did not get at all what I asked for. I asked for light layers with a very small trim and he ended up cutting off a lot of my hair way more then I wanted. Honestly I have to say though if nothing else you do get your moneys worth. My haircut was only $24 including the wash so while I didn’t get what I asked for I will say my hair doesn’t look horrible.

I set a appointment at 5:30pm.. I arrived at 5:20pm 10 mins before…they aid they’ll talk to me in a few. I been setting in the chair waiting til 6:30pm. It was just trying to get cornrows. The place looks clean but not professional at all and honestly I felt embarrassed for even coming…I’m a black man and I honestly think this is not the place for you if your a black man. If your a black male looking for your hair to be done. Don’t waste your time…DONT COME HERE.

Appointments mean nothing at this place… I wish I could attach a video. A random walk in was taken in front of my appointment that was already 20 mins late. Then the two “stylists” just went on with their work without saying anything to me. most frustrating and WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
