I recently moved to Tucson and was in search of a new nail salon. I decided to try out Lush and was very impressed! Today I came back for the second time for an acrylic fill with Noah. The customer service is amazing, super comfortable and friendly environment, and the staff are amazing. Special shout out to Noah: he is so precise when it comes to the shape and paint job of the nail. My nails look perfect every time!!! Highly recommend!!

I want to start off with everyone at the salon was very nice. The salon was beautiful and clean. I made an appt for 9:30am and I showed the lady who checked me in the design I wanted. She said they would be able to do it. She started soaking off my old polish then went back to her client, telling me the technician was almost done doing another clients pedicure then I’d be next. No one started my nails till 40min after my nail appt. The technician that was supposed to do my nails had to do a manicure for her original client. I ended up taking off the cotton balls on my nails bc the nail polish remover started to irritate my skin after 30Min. A nice gentlemen came to do my nails. I showed him the design. He went to another technician and asked how to do it. While prepping my nails he accidentally cut my finger. He apologized. (It happens, not that big of deal). He painted my nails and tried to do the design. It wasn’t looking good so I had him take it off and just finish the manicure. He was very apologetic. The owner (I believe it was the owner) came to check on him and saw the original design wasn’t done. He offered to do it himself and told me this tech had never been trained to do that design. At that point I had been in the salon for 90min and had other plans to get to, so I said no thank you and paid. The manicure over all wasn’t great. He left paint of my skin. The polish coats aren’t even.

this was my first time at lush nails and jay was amazing! super welcoming, knowledgeable, and talented. he shaped my nails perfectly and really paid attention to detail. staff all seem very nice and the salon is well-kept. will definitely be coming back 🙂 Pedicure, Acrylic nails

So this place has the right name because it is just that–lush, from the floors to the walls w/the glitter on ’em, to the stunning chandeliers. I went here for my first time wanting to try something new and I am so glad I did. I had Elisa (I believe was her name) and she did such a phenomenal job!! She even added a kinda last minute request to have the Cali state on my thumbs, and I CAN’T STOP STARING AT THEM Got to check it out…oh, and the price was pretty great too THANK YOU LUSH NAIL LOUNGE, YOU GUYS ROCK!!

About a week ago I went in for a pedicure. It was hands down the worst experience I have ever had while getting my toes done. As I was relaxing on my phone I felt a slap on my foot looked down and to my disgust I saw a dead fly laying next to my foot. The employee an older women had killed a fly on my foot. I looked at her confused as she laughed it off and apologized as of it was a normal occurrence. I decided to continue with my pedicure as I was half way though. I had already previously mentioned that I had a LIFTED toe nail not broken or cracked AT ALL, I asked her to be gentle with it. It was not broken and shouldn’t have been a problem as I had had my toes done not even a week before, no issue. She said okay and continued to roughly clean under it over and over. She applied so much pressure that she broke it almost in half. She looked up at me and apologized then proceeded to try to re glue my nail back four times. She applied water from the foot bath on it then glued my two toes together. Panicked and pulled them apart roughly. When it was time to pay I was charged more than the original price with no explanation. She left my to nails worse than when I came in. I went with a friend and she also was not satisfied with her pedicure. It’s been a week and my polish is already cracked and peeling. Normally I wouldn’t leave a bad review but this was such a bad experience I feel like I need to. The place has pretty decor but the work is shotty, I will not be returning.

I love this place. I have been coming here for about a year, and I have never been disappointed. Melissa and Jay are amazing. They are so welcoming and they know their stuff. The rest of the staff is so nice and welcoming. They get busy so make sure you make an appointment. 10/10 recommend Gel manicures, Acrylic nails

i came here and got a pedicure paid $60 plus tip, left then came back later for a manicure. when i checked out originally i asked the man who did my nails if this was for my manicure AND pedicure and he said yes. i did misread one of the services which was my fault, however i didn’t know that until waaay later. everything was great for my mani pedi up until the end when we were doing the manicure. i asked for ONE simple flower on each nail and the man made me feel very bad by letting out an annoyed sigh/groan, as if i was asking for too much. so i sadly and reluctantly settled on just one very simple flower on each hand. at the end they charged me $45 (plus tip) which i wasn’t expecting cause i accidentally misread one of the services AND the man told me earlier that the $60 i had already paid was for both. when i politely presented this issue they didn’t even TRY to compromise and meet me in the middle about it, considering there was miscommunication on both ends. one of the women was about to offer a gift certificate but one of the men working simply didn’t even want to help me. so i spent $125 on simple pink gel toes, gel nails with TWO flowers even though i asked for one flower on each nail, but the tech made it seem like a burden (photos of what i asked for versus what i got ☹️)

i hesitated on even doing this, however im so disappointed in the service weve been receiving there. I started going to lush in august because my sister recommended them to me, prices were higher however i was satisfied with the environment so i was willing to pay the extra. if im not serviced by one specific technician, my entire services have been messed up. this is probably the 3rd time i’ve been unhappy with my service however this is the first time i’ve ever had something like this happen. my acrylic nails were so thin they ripped my actual nail bed right off after only 3 days.. my big toe nail is also broken from my pedicure i just did.. with that being said, i will not be returning ☹️
