I was searching for a place to get my haircut I called several shops with no answers. Edna was cheerful on the phone with buzzing in the background. I arrived without an appointment to a clean fun atmosphere Edna had me sign in on a tablet she had set up. I had a lot of hair and was going to meet my sister’s husband that night needless to say I look amazing thank you so much Edna. When I come to vacation here again I will surely go see her.

This place is horrible, I went to get my nails done. She charged me for removing the gel that I had, but it seems like she didn’t knew how to remove it. She scratched my nails really bad, hurt my cuticles and even left nail polish and started to paint on top with the new color. Of course she painted my nails really bad, leaving some blank spaces and painting on my finger too. At the end she charged me more for removing because “it took her a lot of work”.

Visiting Carbondale from the Boston area, I was recommended by friends to try Edna’s salon as a convenient location to get my haircut. Not only did she do an excellent job with my hair, but she provided excellent customer service and made me feel like a priority in her shop. Not often do you find businesses that pay attention to detail as much as Edna’s salon. I am struggling to understand how the previous reviewer‘s could’ve had a negative experience. Fair prices for an even better experience.

I went mid of July, I went on a wednesday for her to do my nails. She charged me about $60. In the first 3 days 4 nails had fallen off without me noticing it, because it didn’t hurt when they came off and the job that i have is working as a cashier. I don’t lift heavy things. I called her if she could redo my nails5 days after they had fallen off and she said yes but she would have to charge the same price for a nail and do the other 3 for free. she was charging me $25 more. I never went back there again. It was horrible. My other hand that still had the 5 nails on and they were cracked, the colors were coming off. I could literally see my nails under the artificials nails. Then they fall off after a week I had them. Worst place.
