Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityMarissa does amazing work! Our horses don’t need a sports massage because they don’t really do much except be horses, but they are large. Being the size that they are, their muscles do a lot of work just doing what they do. Our oldest mare has spine problems, TMJ, and horrible arthritis in her knees. According to our vet, the difference in her conditions improved greatly between chiropractic appointments because of Marissa’s massages. Our gelding runs to the gate when Marissa approaches, and follows her around until she begins work on him.Marissa works so well with all of them. She is soft-spoken, kind, and so comfortable around them. We do everything at liberty, so no halters or crossties. Marissa goes to where they are, massaging them in the pasture, stall, or paddock – wherever they are happen to be during whatever they happen to be doing. They can just stand there, they can be eating grass, they can be eating hay… it doesn’t matter, she makes it work.Marissa keeps great notes on each appointment, noting problems she finds and what she accomplishes on each massage. She is adept at watching the horse’s body language telling her what areas need attention, and when she’s hit “the spot.”I highly recommend her, and our horses stand behind me in that!Marissa does amazing work!
