Went here for 7+ years and ended the business relationship today after the owner just left me hanging even though we had a confirmed appointment. I showed up and the door was locked. I called Mary and that’s when she told me that she left. Not even an apology. Not even a text message saying that she was leaving for the day. I drove 35 minutes to get to the salon for her to not bet there. Extremely unprofessional. Too bad when you try to maintain support of businesses it comes back and bite you.

My 1st time using this braiding salon didn’t get the style I went for but, will do in less than 24hrs I lost 4 braids text the owner who stated she would fix my hair after she sent me ‘LOL’ I chose not to return & will not go again it was the lol for me as if it was free. Customer service is it not a priority obviously . This saddens me .

My appointment was for 4 pm, but due to traffic I did not get there until 4:10. I sent Mary a text at 4:07, but never received a response. It didn’t matter because she was not there. One lady told me to have a seat and she got her cellphone. About 5 mins passed and the lady apologized and asked if I could come back after she finished the client in the chair. She told me 6, I left and did not return. I came from the Eastern Shore and was not going to wait.

Very impressed with the service. When I addressed my concerns of previous experiences elsewhere of my hair being so tight it would tear my scalp or so sore couldnt sleep for a week, she ensured me that would not be the case and she was correct. I walked out with a smile, a head I could touch, and was able to sleep. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good experience. Had to go back twice bc they couldn’t get my style right like the picture. Change the whole style and she did the back totally different than the picture. Then try and tell me because my hair short and I just had it like that a couple weeks ago. And they was trying to get more money out my pocket when my hair is not like the pic. Why ask to see a pic and say u can do it and can’t do it. I’m never be going back there. Not satisfied at all. My stitch braid are terrible. I had way better. Someone need to teach her and not keep u tubing everything

I found Marliz online, decided to give the shop a try, and was very pleasantly surprised. They started on my hair very shortly after I arrived, and two people worked on my hair at once. They work quickly with minimal breaks, the prices are reasonable, and the braiders are friendly. I recommend this shop to anyone needing quick braids for a reasonable price. I’m very happy with my hair style. I definitely plan to return for any braiding needs I have in the future. Thanks Marliz:)

My daughter hair was left looking horrible. The shop is strictly about making money. I should have know better, because 2 other people that day left without their hair being completed. They had the stylist Mary stop in the process. And the bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper. Braids
