At first consultation I was impressed with the pleasantness and professionalism displayed. Amber books a month out for perms so I booked for a month out. The day of my appointment I arrived 5 minutes early for my 9am service. Only to find a locked door and dark salon. I called the salon hoping someone might pick up from a remote location. At 9:15 a a car pulls up in the parking lot and a woman asks if I’m waiting for natalie. I said no I was waiting for Amber and the woman proceeds to tell me that Amber was out sick with covid and asked my name and she would tell them that I was there waiting and I said my name should be in the book and she said well I don’t even work here and I said wow. So I give her my name and she apologizes on behalf of rainforest for not contacting me for my 2-hour appointment needless to say I left rather disappointed because it’s not only their time it’s my time and this is unprofessional and unacceptable for a salon who works off of appointments to not care enough to call the customers in advance to let them know.

Miranda is amazing at cutting hair. She can work with anything and it always comes out so good! The cost of a haircut here is not too bad either considering the place has the word “salon” in the name which makes you think expensive but it’s really not. And it’s totally worth it anyway if it’s a haircut from Miranda! Everyone else who works here is also very friendly.

Critical: QualityI went to this salon to have my hair cut for donating and then styled. I had Stacy/Stacie cut my hair and it was absolutely massacred. It was cut unevenly, my layers weren’t blended, and it was WAY shorter than what I asked for. When asked if I can get a face frame, I was told no because “she doesn’t like face frames on shorter hair.” I was appalled by my haircut and went to a different salon the next day to have it fixed.
