Positive: ProfessionalismThis first time I acquainted myself to Tanning Republic on SW Barrows in Tigard, OR, I was greeted by a professional gentleman named Patrick. He was very sharp and informative of all the services offered. He was personable, and it was clear he was sincere and genuine in his approach. I did not purchase the first visit, but Patrick left such an impression that I ended up coming back a couple months later after researching all other tanning locations. Nothing compared. I have been a member ever since and Patrick and his Team have not once disappointed even during the restrictive environment with COVID. Patrick knows everything about his beds and the aura of the location yells high quality. The time he put into it this location shows. I enjoy going to this location and having a positive greeting and chat with him and his Team every single time. This first time I acquainted myself to Tanning Republic on SW Barrows in Tigard, OR, I was greeted by a professional gentleman named Patrick. He was very sharp and informative of all the services offered. He was personable, and it was clear he was sincere and genuine in his approach. Bought a package because I was going on vacation. The first time I called to get info I was put on hold waited 5 min hung up called back got voice mail for the next hour. Decided to drive up there & I guess they forgot to transfer it back. Ok no big deal people make mistakes. Yesterday (Saturday at about 4, I drive up there only to get a note on the door saying “sorry we are closed due to staffing shortages”. Today I tried calling 4 times from 1 – 5:30 pm and got voice mail each time which I left a messages saying plz call back if your open. Don’t feel liking driving up there again only for them to be closed. Tried calling the south location & also got voice mail? How do they stay in business??!! 2 days of not tanning before my trip REALLY IRKS ME! Won’t be buying anything from them going forward.

I have visited many tanning places and the Tan Republic on Barrows is by far the best I’ve been to. Super clean, great amenities, and the owner and employees are awesome.

Just signed up to tan yesterday and it was a great experience. Patrick took extra special care to explain the differences in beds and tanning lotions. He was super informative without all the hard sales pitch and really listened to my needs to help determine the best package and products. I’ve been to my fair share of tanning salons in the past and this is by far the best experience to date. Looking forward to coming to this location as a regular.

I have been going to Tan Republic for several years. This location is by far the best. The management is amazing and the staff are always kind and helpful. I dont think I would have continued my membership if it was not for Patrick and his amazing personality and kind spirit. I love this salon. It’s always clean, well organized, and I can’t say enough about the quality of customer service that is provided.

Great tanning salon. The owner is super nice and has great customer service. He doesn’t expect you to know everything and walks you through all the tanning beds. I have never felt pressured for sales like most other tanning salons. He also is great at helping you find the best package that works for you and your budget. The wait time is 0 because he is on top of it and always making sure people can get in and out as fast as possible. Highly recommend this place !

Meh. Out of the 5 Tan Republic locations I’ve been to, this is my least favorite. I’ve been to worst tanning salons, this one is just average. Not always towels provided in the room. Purposely dark lighting. My first time there in February 2021, there were 2 men moving things, one of them was working on the computer and checked me in. Both of these male employees were not wearing masks. Employees are pleasant and nice.

Well it was quite expensive for a spray tan it was 30.00 each of us. Groupon had a special 2 for 25.00 at other tan republics but not this one. And I believe the same person owns them . I have tans saved from other tan republics I couldnt use them here. Ok the spray tan was great lasted along time they put alot of spray in there machines it was clean he explained everything in great detail. My daughter and I went and he cleaned the machine after each of us . Great job at tanning plenty of product .

I live 20 minutes from this location however wouldnt want to go anywhere else! The mattess bed is litterally like laying out at the beach! and the self tanning station is clean and they let you put towels under your feet in ther booth! The mattess bed is litterally like laying out at the beach! and the self tanning station is clean and they let you put towels under your feet in ther booth! WORST tanning salon I’ve EVER been to. We’ve been signed up at this location for less than a year. The beds have never work properly and Patrick is never there. The door is locked during his posted open hours on a regular basis with no note on the door stating if he is CLOSED or WILL BE BACK. Don’t know how this location stays in business.
