Welcome to KeyCuts Barbershop a staple in the Montclair Community. We are a black owned business whose clients include all walks of life and hair textures. We cater from young to old, and all types of hair styles from Waves, Combovers, Mohawks, Skin Fades, to Braids and Dread Loc Twists under our Barber and Braider Laurency “The Real Pretty Barber”. Our Owner and Head barber is Zane a “hometown kid” Along with his big brother and master barber Landon aka “Boogie”.

I went to Keycuts this morning for a cut with Cycy – the Pretty Barber. She did a great job with my hair -she was on time, friendly and professional. This was my first time in the shop and my first time with her. She asked me how I’d like my hair cut, listened and answered all my questions. She took the time to make me feel welcomed and to understand what I was looking to have done. I couldn’t be more happy. I will definitely come back the next time I need a cut.

Zane was able to take my idea of what I wanted along with a glance at a picture I showed him, and he executed the haircut I wanted perfectly. It’s a chill environment, he offered me a water bottle, gave me a hot towel after the haircut, which was refreshing, and he has great attention to detail. I’d absolutely recommend Keycuts to anyone!

My husband and I just took our 2 year old for his first haircut. I was able to book the appointment effortlessly online with Landon. We were very pleased with our experience. The shop was well kept. Landon was very accommodating and apologized for the brief wait that we had while he was finishing with the client before us. He worked very quickly with scissors and finished up with clippers. My son who usually cries when we attempt to do anything with his hair, sat down with his tablet and was relaxed. The shop acknowledged the completion of his haircut with a “Yay!” and round of applause. Its about the little things and this place gets it. We look forward to returning!
