Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had the worse experience, I had in my life they OVER CHARGED me. I asked, for a hair cut, color and perm. She did not give me what I asked for. She did not give me a hair cut. But she still charged me $120. For just a color and perm. Her and her other stylist. which, was her sister. were very RUDE and NASTY towards me. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I would suggest that NO ONE GO TO MARIA’S HAIR SALON. They are a complete RIP OFF. I was so unhappy with their unprofessionalism..And the high prices. she charged me and didnt even give me the hair cut or style I asked for. I was just reading someone else had the same bad experience that I did. The owner Maria, is very rude and over charges her clients..while, not giving them what they ask for. I had the worse experience, I had in my life they OVER CHARGED me. I asked, for a hair cut, color and perm. She did not give me what I asked for. She did not give me a hair cut. Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueLast Thanksgiving, I accidentally found Maria’s Hair Salon in Hyde Park, thinking she was another stylist that I had gone to for years when I lived in Newton, MA. The day I was in town visiting for a few days, having moved out of state, my hair stylist was not available, so I ended up going to Maria’s in Hyde Park. I called and spoke to Maria and made an appointment. This was THE BEST SALON EXPERIENCE! Let me tell you why: Maria knew I was in town for a few days and would never see me again, YET she provided a top notch service with her punctuality, WARMTH, PROFESSIONALISM and KNOWLEDGE about my hair (which is transitioning from a relaxer to natural) and handling of my hair. Maria KNOWS how to treat customers and handle hair! I still use her advice months later. Thank you Maria! Open more salons! If I ever make it back to the Boston area, I’ll be going to Maria. Last Thanksgiving, I accidentally found Maria’s Hair Salon in Hyde Park, thinking she was another stylist that I had gone to for years when I lived in Newton, MA. The day I was in town visiting for a few days, having moved out of state, my hair stylist was not available, so I ended up going to Maria’s in Hyde Park. I called and spoke to Maria and made an appointment. This was THE BEST SALON EXPERIENCE! Let me tell you why: Maria knew I was in town for a few days and would never see me again, YET she provided a top notch service with her punctuality, WARMTH, PROFESSIONALISM and KNOWLEDGE about my hair (which is transitioning from a relaxer to natural) and handling of my hair.
