I got a haircut with Norman and it was the best haircut I’ve ever had! I came in with very long, loosely curled hair that was in need of some fun touches. He helped me decide on a short hairstyle that would suit my aesthetic preferences and lifestyle. I am so happy with the way it turned out and it was really cool to watch him work because you could tell there is a craftsmanship to his work. Will definitely be back again!!! Can’t recommend enough for people with wavy/curly hair or who want some fun layers.

I waited 2 months to get a cut with Nick and he was 100% ABSOLUTELY worth the wait!! I lived in LA for 20 years, so when it comes to beauty, I am VERY picky. Nick made suggestions to my hair that I totally agreed with – he knew exactly what I didn’t like about it without my having to say anything. About 25% of the way through the cut, I told him, “It already looks so much better. I love it already.” Before he blew it out, I could see the quality of his cut, which accentuated my natural curls and gave my face a lift. He even used a blow out technique that I never saw before, but will be using!

I’ve been to Sweet Jane twice with Norman and I’ve had the absolute best experience! The atmosphere is peaceful and fun, and both haircuts that I’ve gotten have been exactly what I wanted but somehow even better. Normal also helped me bring out the natural waviness in my hair and taught me how to take care of it and style it on my own. I’ve never loved my hair as much as I do now.

Thanks to other Google reviews like this one, I booked an appointment with Norman for the following afternoon. Both Norman & Nicholas greeted me with warmth and smiles, and the moment Norman pulled out the shears it became obvious that he’s passionate about his craft. Norman spent ample time shaping my bangs to perfection, all while treating me to kind conversations – even giving me a recommendation for a stylist in Los Angeles, where I live. Everything about this experience from start to end was perfection, so as much as I appreciate the recommendation, I think I’ll come all the way down to see Norman for haircuts from now on.

I’ve been coming here for close to two years and every time has been a fantastic experience. Nick is a master with color and gets curly hair. (I’m somewhere between a 3b and 3c.) Also!
