I have been getting my haircut here for a couple of years now. Irene is my stylist and my haircut gets compliments everywhere I go. This is a friendly salon, well kept and maintained. If they are constantly adding services. They are in a shopping center with a brand-new Publix, and it’s really starting to bustle. Great place for haircut or other day spa treatments.

As my mother always said, “the difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is about 3 weeks.” I randomly selected Southbay since my regular stylist apparently moved onto greener pastures. I have to be honest, Leo at this shop really hooked me up. Fixed the glaring issues with my prior cut (and my last 5 haircuts in Florida) and straightened things up even with my egg shaped head! I live in Ohio and recently lost my hair stylist to South bay Hair Studio and Spa in Osprey, Florida. Just a heads up to any patrons at South bay Hair Studio, this stylist is Yvonne Shutt. She has cut and styled my hair for almost 20 years. She is reliable, quick and very thorough. She always gave me excellent haircuts and any other services over the years. She can work wonders with her hands. Do yourself a favor and make an appt with Yvonne. You won’t be sorry and will feel like a new person. She also does a great job for men. My loss is your gain.

Nichole was my stylist today and she did an outstanding job. I’m new to the region and put off finding a new stylist because my hair has suffered damage in the past. I called on Tuesday morning and Jan was able to schedule me for Thursday morning. Nichole did a great job with highlights, lowlights and a wonderful cut to help me and my hair adapt to a new climate. The salon isn’t flashy, but it was very clean and pretty easy to find. I’d recommend this salon and Nichole anytime 🙂 Thank you so much!!!

SO happy with Southbay Hair Studio and Spa! I just learned that my hairstylist, Irene, from a local salon has joined Southbay! Called for an appointment and she was there to “fix” my very bad haircut received from my prior salon. Irene gives the BEST cuts I’ve ever had in my life. She “gets” hair! She is always nice, reliable, courteous and professional and I’m SOOO happy to have found her again.

For years I have bounced around to every oriental nail salon going my direction. Until I found Jean at South Bay Hair Salon & Spa. She introduced me to nail shellac. This new polish technique will last me easy 3 weeks. I’m hooked! No more chipped polish and I’m loving the longevity I get. Jean is a highly skilled professional and a true pleasure to be around. I bought a livingsocial coupon and it was for a manicure, deep conditioning treatment, hair cut, and blow out. I really went for the hair, the manicure was just a bonus. I got my nails done first and they look really good, than I got my hair done, the stylist was very nice and the deep conditioning treatment work really well but when it came to my hair cut and blow out I was very dissatisfied, I had announced multiple times that I didn’t want my hair to be any short than 3 inches cut off but I did want layers, she gave me layers but very short layers. my hair was just above my elbow and now it is just below my shoulders and after the blow out my hair was left frizzy and poofy. if I had gone just for the deep conditioning treatment and manicure I would have been satisfied but she cut off at least 3 years of hair growth that I cant get back.
