Critical: ProfessionalismI have been going there for years. I have seen the owner throw a fit in front of clients with one of his nail techs and it is so unprofessional. Also i like a 2 week standing appointment and the owner will not allow this because he lets walk in first. My money is just as good as theirs because I come every 2 weeks. Also if I have an appointment I expect to be serviced but the owner throws walk in ahead of you and then you have to wait. If this happens again I will find somewhere else to go where you will be treated better. I have been going there for years. I have seen the owner throw a fit in front of clients with one of his nail techs and it is so unprofessional. Also i like a 2 week standing appointment and the owner will not allow this because he lets walk in first. My money is just as good as theirs because I come every 2 weeks. Also if I have an appointment I expect to be serviced but the owner throws walk in ahead of you and then you have to wait. I generally give people and businesses the benefit of doubt until I have experienced them myself. WORSE experience I have ever had LITERALLY. I have been getting my toes and nails done since the early 90’s so you know I can’t be exaggerating when I say that my 5 year old granddaughter could have done my toes better. I actually had to drive to another salon in Terre Haute to get my toes redone and fixed. I told her three times the color was not what I picked. My toes were clumpy and dull. She didn’t even file them at all.When he started my nails, I told them I wanted dip with tips so they were longer than my natural nails (I had recently cut them all off) she just started to dip them without the tips. I asked twice why she didn’t had tips out. She said she didn’t do tips. So I had to wait 90 minutes for the guy. He started my nails and SEVEN ZOF THEM HE GLUED ON CROOKED! I had to make him take them off the redo them. He was peeling them off with cuticle clippers and peeled them towards me. Ripping off THREE of my own nails making them bleed. I finally said. STOP. I don’t want them anymore and the person getting her toes done while there and the other person getting nails done too. We just as unhappy. We were all very vocal about what we didn’t like and they didn’t even care. I paid for my pedicure only because they used products (polish) on my toes. Literally I cannot go somewhere else to get my fingers done until they heal now. Oh and the lights above their nails stations had about 100 dead stink bugs in each light and as I was walked out, I step OVER a roach to go out the door. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! I wish I had my $27 back for my toes.RUN DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THAT PLACE.Someone should be reporting them to the health department for cleanliness too.If I could give a negative stars, I would. If I could give a negative stars, I would. I generally give people and businesses the benefit of doubt until I have experienced them myself. WORSE experience I have ever had LITERALLY. Critical: Quality, ValueI’m so disappointed with my nails, I literally paid $40 for something I could have done myself. My technician rushed through my nails, and didn’t even ask me what shape I wanted. She did not sand them down enough and they still looked lumpy when she was done. When I asked her to correct her mistakes she acted like nothing was wrong but did it anyway. She told me it was normal to have your thumbnails uneven. I eventually just had to settle for “good enough.” Now I will have to go to another place when I get the money again and not only redo them, but get them removed beforehand because of how short they are, which is not the most pleasant experience especially when they’re recently done. My nails are now misshapen, uneven, and embarrassing, and will be for at least a week. Don’t spend your hard-earned money here, make the drive to Terre Haute where they know what they’re doing, or at the very least put effort and time into their work.I’m so disappointed with my nails, I literally paid $40 for something I could have done myself. I’m so disappointed with my nails, I literally paid $40 for something I could have done myself. My technician rushed through my nails, and didn’t even ask me what shape I wanted.
