Welcome to Salon Maj, a barbershop conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chicago at the historical Board of Trade Building. We offer a full range of services for both men and women including cuts, color and highlights, straight razor shaves, beard and mustache trims and skilled fades. We also offer free sideburn and neck clean ups in between haircuts. You will receive a quality haircut that lasts and looks good at a reasonable price. We are a mom and pop salon that caters to business professionals looking for quality and value. —

I always dreaded getting my hair cut growing up and through my adolescence as I am extremely particular about my hair. I have never been completely satisfied after having it cut, and thought I’d never find “my guy”. Without fail, Maj always exceeds my expectations in giving a world class cut at a fair price. When I have the time (or before a date), I request a straight blade to complement the premium cut, which shakes out to ~$90 all in. This is half of what it would cost you in London, and Maj is equally if not more talented than these folks.
