I originally went here on a whim probably about month ago. Loved the experience and the tech said my nails would last me 3 weeks, and they did. So I went back hoping for the same experience. This past weekend….well i was disappointed. In my opinion two of the 3 techs that came in contact with me for services (gel refill and pedicure) showed annoyance with me. Again, it could have been just that day, im not sure. The first tech started off nice and then she started asking questions that confused me, but despite my efforts to understand and answer correctly, she still spoke to me in a matter of fact tone. ♀️ I didn’t think much of it, until later when we switched to refill and she spoke very softly to me and said, “LSU, what time is the game? ” because she spoke so soft, I had to ask her to repeat herself 3 times. Upon hearing, I simply said, “oh! I’m not sure, I don’t watch LSU” and she seemed to get frustrated with me and shortly after she spoke with other techs and switched from me.

I took my niece for a pedicure and really enjoyed it. We made an appointment for later in the day, didn’t have to wait at all, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely — light and airy. And the staff was super sweet and attentive. Polish lasted a long time.

We love it here. Used to go to the owner’s old location- and when she sold and bought this one, we moved with her. All the girls do a good job, although of course we have favorites. I go usually once or twice a month, sometimes get dip, sometimes shellac, sometimes a pedi. Always pleased. It’s been 3 weeks since I went last and my dip still looks perfect, just starting to grow out.

Twice we went to this location to get our nails done. Fist time we waited 45 minutes without anyone letting us know how long it would be so we left. 2nd time gave them another try. Waited 40 minutes and asked how long and got no answer. We like this location for convenience but won’t patronize again. We went down the road and got in immediately with another salon who was much friendlier.

I do like how thin the acrylic nails are but that’s about it. When it was all said and done, my nails were all different lengths and different shapes after I asked to get them tapered. The girl next to me (also getting acrylic tips) asked for a nail that fit her finger, a reasonable request, and after a slight back and forth they catered to the customer. Instantly began talking about her which would have been fine IF the customer was being rude and unreasonable, which she was not. Sad to pay money just to fix them myself.

The LOFT nails and spa is amazing! Mrs. Terri used to own Highland nails on highland and Jefferson. When I came in here I discovered she now owns this location and works here! Rosie and Terry always do the best work my nails last for weeks before I have to get them redone, and the service is always exceptional. Beautiful decor too!
