Critical: QualityI had a haircut and a beard trim, and it was the worst beard trim I ever had. I had a high standard for sports clips because I went to one regularly in a different state, but didn’t see how many bad reviews this location has.The haircut itself was just okay. The stylist (her name tag said she was the store manager) asked me what i wanted and she went shorter than I asked. The blend I asked for wasn’t great, but wasn’t the worst, and it was shorter/higher on my head than I wanted. She made it much higher than I asked for. I wouldn’t do a negative review for just the “meh” haircut – but the beard trim will keep me from this location.She ruined my beard. I told the stylist I wanted it as long as we can but trimming it / cleaning it up because I enjoy my longer beard. I went with a “6” and she said she’d trim it along my neck. She ended up taking my beard down all the way. She didn’t just trim my neck, she took it all the way to my jawline and it wasn’t even! Part of it was above my jawline and the other was not, which regardless, none of which I asked for. I asked for a small trim and she took it all the way down.There is another weird thing I had never experienced at a sports clips. I always get the MVP and she offered a free MVP upgrade since it was my first time. That was great, but I had to actually ask for conditioner. I’ve never had that happen before.
