I give extreme caution to anyone who wants to get their hair colored here. I have never gotten my hair dyed/styled professionally or in general. I have natural auburn hair and I wanted an ombré/balayage to blonde. The stylist informed me that I wouldn’t be able to go light on the first bleaching session and I was okay with that, but the monstrosity I looked at when i got into my car sickened me. I walked out of the salon with uneven orange/yellow hair. the ombré on one side was significantly higher up than the other. I had to go to another stylist to get it toned twice before it was all even. That stylist informed me that Twisted Scissors did not leave the bleach in long enough and used a sloppy technique that created a noticeable line between my natural color and the “blonde”. After several appointments with this new stylist my hair is looking more normal, but I am very sad to say that my first hair coloring experience was one that made me cry. cutting my hair and bangs unevenly is fixable, color is harder. Money truly wasted, but hey, at least the staff was nice.
