We had an absolutely incredible experience at Godspeed Tattoo this past week! George is such a nice guy! We went to have my one year old daughters ears pierced and we had brought our 5 year old. He was so attentive to both children! Giving them lollipops and small little trinkets. Even gave my son a quarter to get a gum ball when mommy and daddy didn’t have a quarter! He was so quick and professional for the actual piercing and knew just how to handle a baby/toddler, while also being receptive to us as parents. Felt like you were hanging out with a friend. The shop was very clean as well. I highly recommend George for children’s ear piercing but if I ever get the courage to finally get a tattoo, I will be going to Goodspeed!

My two daughters wanted the three of us to get matching tattoos for my Mother’s Day gift. We picked a symbol that was meaningful to us. One daughter already has 3 tattoos, the other has 2. This was my very first tattoo at 59 years old. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the experience at Goodspeed Tattoo was so good on so many different levels. Excellent consultation, great artistry, masterful skill, antique and unique decor, and a very clean and comfortable setting. The tattoos were outstanding and exactly what we wanted and what we asked for. George guided us through our placement choices and we were so thankful for his opinions and suggestions. We got great tattoos, but even more had such a fun time. George and everyone else in the shop are so bright and sharp witted, we laughed the whole time. What a nice place and a nice experience. First I have to say thank you to George for being a great person and tattoo artist! Took my 19 yr old daughter to get a tattoo that she has wanted for years to remember her Grammy. George talked to her about placement and size and the pros and cons of each. I really appreciated how patient and understanding he was with her. She left there smiling after taking his advice. I left there knowing I would be back there to get one myself after I finish my cancer journey (with a doctors note as required by Goodspeed Tattoo). I love a business that puts the customer above its profits!

Brought my daughter in to get her ears pierced. I grew up in East Haddam so I was happy to drive 50 minutes (Griswold now) to go somewhere that was recommended by my old town locals ☺️ What an amazing experience! My daughter is 4, and she is a big baby but she was made to feel super comfortable and George took his time to talk to her first and walk her through each part. (Everyone at home thought we were going to come home with one ear done lol) She left with a big smile on her face and is still talking about it ❤️ Thank you! There’s been a tattoo I’ve been waiting on and I’ll be back here for sure. 10/10 recommend⭐️

I’ve known Jeremy for 20 years, but hadnt seen him since he came to my wedding 15 years ago. When my Mom passed in February, I felt I needed to do something spiritually for myself as Mom and I shared a Birthday and were very close. I hit Jeremy up and together we are working our way through a sleeve and I am blown away. Every session that I am his canvas is empowering.
