Samuel Moreno is the bomb diggity! Having an 11 year old child sit in a hairdresser’s chair may sound simple, but for a child with autism/Asperger having a haircut can be painful. Wow! This will be our go to place for our kids haircuts. (3&4 y/o) Everyone is nice, the shop is clean. Our 4 y/o has had a few cuts in a shop before so I wasn’t too nervous. Ms. Diana sat him up in her chair and gave him some distractions and eased him through the whole process, even when he needed some extra encouragement. She took her time and got our opinions every step of the way. In the end, he looked great and he loves his cut! We had our very curly headed 3 y/o with us as well. He has never had a cut besides me just nipping some ends here and there while he’s distracted. He absolutely hates having his hair messed with at home. And I’m gentle. He really needed a trim but he kept saying he didn’t want one. This is where Ms. Diana SHINED!! She gave my boys some animal crackers and our curly headed boy sat down in one of their waiting chairs. I had given him my phone so he was content and distracted. She saw her opportunity and took it. She got her scissors and started giving him his first real haircut! (While still entertaining our 4 y/o.) She cut his hair on her knees, who does that?? She does and I’m am so grateful for it! She went above and beyond! She was patient with both our boys and so sweet to them. You can tell she has a heart of gold. We’ll be back for sure!

I have to say that this place is absolutely amazing! I have been going here for close to a year, and every single time I leave feeling so much better. Sam will have you feeling confident and feeling fresh when you step out of the door. The atmosphere and the friendly staff is also a plus!! If you drive by you’ll see a wait sometimes! Trust me, they will go fast but the best things come to those that wait!! I have recommended all of my friends and family to go to Sams!!!
