Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMs. Betty is not a honest professional hair business person. I went to her for my hair to get flat iron and trimmed. After explaining to the professional that I washed it with shampoo and conditioner and I put nothing in my hair but olive oil after it dried. She assured me that when she flat iron hair it last 3 weeks. She put nothing in my hair and I told her I have curly hair it will friz up. She assured me it wouldn’t. I went on a date with my husband and within an hour my hair frizzed like I knew it would. I returned to Betty and she was rude and disrespectful when I told her I didn’t appreciate her not doing my hair the right way and just applying heat with nothing on it. She called me cheap and when I asked for a refund she told me I can have it because obviously I need it more then her…. unprofessional. For u to be a hair stylist my opinion you should know all ethnic of hair and know that with dry curly hair you need to apply some hair grease hair spray etc. I will never do business with her again. She kept talking over me after I told her I’m not going to waste my energy with her she wanted to argue I’m to grown for that and I’m pregnant I then took my money back and walked out the shop…she came outside still running her mouth wanting to argue like lady the problem is resolve. Don’t you got a business to run. On top of all that I scheduled that appointment for 2:30 she had me wait with no customers in her shop for 20 mins so she can have a conversation with an employee. If I was a business person my customers come first. I feel she was lazy and did not want to put all the time like she should have done into my hair if she did it would not have friz and we wouldn’t of had a problem. Ms. Betty is not a honest professional hair business person. I went to her for my hair to get flat iron and trimmed. After explaining to the professional that I washed it with shampoo and conditioner and I put nothing in my hair but olive oil after it dried. After a Google search, learned about this salon and saw the multiple great reviews about the owner Ms. Betty. BELIEVE THE HYPE! She is fantastic. I could tell there is so much love for her by the clients who came in and praised her work not only as a stylist but as a human being. She’s truly great at what she does and has the most beautiful spirit about her. She did a fantastic job with my hair. I even let her do a few snips. I left VERY happy. My hairdresser would be jealous. Shhhh! Did not have the chance to go to my regular hairdresser back home before coming to Fort Walton for business and desperately needed to find a Dominican style hairdresser. After a Google search, learned about this salon and saw the multiple great reviews about the owner Ms. Betty. BELIEVE THE HYPE! She is fantastic. I could tell there is so much love for her by the clients who came in and praised her work not only as a stylist but as a human being.
