The upscale atmosphere is calm and professional. Andrea has a wealth of knowledge surrounding curly hair maintenance. Parlour provides an “experience”. Andrea gives a wonderful head massage. She provided tutorials throughout the cut to show me how to maintain my style. My hair is thinning and Andrea gave me a great cut to support the body that’s left in my hair. Parlour Salon consistently provides the most excellent haircuts. Andrea (the owner) is very knowledgeable and attentive. She will give you more than just a haircut or color. Andrea is an image consultant and helps people use their hair, clothes, and makeup together to let their personality shine. Andrea specializes in curly hair and, after visiting multiple salons, I realized this was the best place to keep my curly hair looking beautiful instead of like a frizzy mess. The services are expensive but I have learned so much from Andrea and never would have believed my hair could look as good as she keeps it now.

As a natural red-head in my early thirties I’ve been struggling with losing the striking red of my youth to an increasing amount of white. Andrea may not have curly hair herself but she *knows* curly hair. I’ve been to many, many stylists who claim to know curly hair, who are DevaCurl trained, etc, and leave shell shocked and with more damage to my shape than I came in with. Andrea saw those problems and we are working to fix the “hole” in my hair that another stylist left, and working on length and shape goals from the ground up. Andrea gave me the first haircut of my curly-haired life that I actually left the salon and did nothing to my hair. If you don’t know what that means, you don’t know the life of a curly girl. I left and did not have to restyle. My hair got washed ONCE today, not 3 times. She was so knowledgeable, took her time with me, and listened and explained everything. I rebooked with her, also something I’ve never felt comfortable enough to do before. The service is pricey but you get what you pay for. Thank you Andrea!
