I was so impressed with the stylist ,Nora. It’s the first time in my life I ever gave anybody a 30% tip. She is a very personable lovely person. I never met such a nice stylist before. She gave me good advice about how to take care of my hair. Also the benefit is that this is a not very expensive hair salon. And the wait time is very minimal.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI came in and ending up getting a color and highlights. The lady who did my hair didn’t speak much English I understood that supposedly she’s been doing hair for 25 years “I don’t think!” First she colored my hair, did a semi-wash which should’ve been a wash of my hair She then continued on to do my highlights. It seemed ok at first but then as she moved onto my sides I noticed she wasn’t using the colostrum, I think it’s called, between each layer of highlight. I felt a bit uneasy. So then I had to wait as chemicals did its work. I asked her to wash twice but she didn’t later it up as I asked and gave me bit of an attitude about. she started blow drying my hair and I about freaked out. The color ran. She tried to fix it twice and she couldn’t The owner stepped in and finished up my hair and did the best she could to render problem. The owner was very nice and professional. If u every go to this place for any kind of color, go to the owner ONLY!!! I won’t go back because that older Hispanic lady wasted my time and screwed up my hair!!I came in and ending up getting a color and highlights. This is the only place go to get a great haircut. Holly is the best! Always knows exactly how I want my haircut and would never trust anybody but her to cut it. Holly is always very nice and very professional everytime! You want be disappointed.

Someone needs to inform this place customer service is the pinnacle to a hair salon business. Stylist here treated my cute little nephew poorly and shouted at him several times while trying to cut his hair. Stylist did not follow instructions on the type of cut she was asked to perform. Stylist refused to give her name when asked and refused to give receipt at the end of service. I’d avoid this place even if it’s cheap because you will end up at loss anyways. If the manager is listening, the stylist that refused to disclose her name was the one that closed the store on March 18th.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. I had called and made an appointment for a perm for my son. When we showed up for the appointment, the lady at the front desk greeted us by staring at us silently. When I announced we had an appointment, she very rudely stated they didnt take appointments. I told her we made an appointment for a perm. She then continued very rudely to say that she didnt make the appointment and she was the only one that could do perms but she was leaving early so she wasnt going to do it. I asked her why didnt anyone call us to let us know that no one would would be able to perform the service. And with a huge attitude she repeated that she didnt make the appointment. I asked her if they had an appointment book or somewhere they documented appointments that they referred to when they start their day and she shoved a book in my face and repeated that she didn’t make the appointment. I said it would have been nice if someone could have called us so we didnt waste a trip. The other two stylists present looked terrified of her so I can only assume she was the owner. Then one of them spoke up and said she had made my appointment over the phone. The front desk lady then turned and yelled at her, “Then you figure it out!” So I asked again if anyone was going to be able to perform the service and the front desk person said that “she will have to figure it out.” Meaning the other stylist I guess. ?? I understand there was some sort or scheduling issue on their end, but she was unapologetic and extremely rude and hostile. She could have just apologized and offered to reschedule us and I would have been ok with that. We ended up calling Van Gogh salon down the street and after explaining what happened, they were gracious enough to squeeze us in the same day and did an amazing job. I will never go back to Dina’s, one day she’s going to get herself in a mess with the way she talks to people.
