I’ll preface by saying that I have frequented one barbershop for the last 20 years, the kind of place where you feel comfortable because the folks have known you forever and conversation is relaxed and not forced. I also want to say that i took some time after my experience to chill and reflect because i didnt want to be unfair. My barber was closed today, so I found this place and decided to go. When I walked in the door, I went to the pad to check in, but a stylist/barber stopped me and told me that she’d get me signed in. She might have misheard me, or there could have been a glitch with the computers, but I didn’t end up getting checked in. So a couple people walked in and got sat before me, which was irritating. Then i got checked in and sat and then things just got kind of uncomfortable. My barber has always just spritzed my hair with a spray bottle and gone to town. Here I had to sit and put my hair in the sink, which was uncomfortable for me. I had to tell the stylist not to shampoo my hair and was repeatedly asked if i wanted a drink even after i refused (a nice gesture, but a failure to understand that I just wanted just wanted a haircut).Then as I was getting my hair cut, the stylist kept talking about her boyfriend who had driven off on his motorcycle in the rain and hadn’t been heard from (hope he’s okay, but I found that to be unprofessional and very uncomfortable). You don’t want to hear how nervous your barber is while she’s dancing around your ears with scissors. My stylist was also called away from me, mid-cut, to answer phones or check on things, which l found unprofessional and disconcerting as to the quality being provided. The final product was okay, not the worst I’ve had, but not great. Price was reasonable in comparison to others. Overall, I probably won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to old school folks used to and enjoying mom and pop barber shop. If you want an “experience” when you get your haircut- refreshments, cute girls, mechanic themed- then I could see this place being more appealing.

I have curly hair that has to be cut with some skill to look good. Went to this barber and basically if you have basic strait hair and want a fade you’ll be fine, but if you want anything else good luck after I was done my hair was way to short because the barber didn’t understand that curly hair shrinks even though I tried to hint them thoughtfully, ended looking decent but not what I paid for, if you have hair that is medium to high maintenance don’t go here
