I accidentally found Therapeutic Spa because all the other massage spa were booked. The experience was different, but great holistic outcome for my back. It’s not your typical relaxing massage. It’s a place where you can get true relief from your backaches, or any aches in your body. The place itself doesn’t have the Zen feel, but it’s clean. If you’re expecting zen music, incense or candles burning then this is not a match for you. I haven’t had time to get a massage for a few years due to work schedule and travel demands. My entire body felt it too. For months I couldn’t get comfortable sleeping because of body aches, I was in constant pain and aches sitting or on my feet. I can feel my muscle stiffening no matter what I do. I was genuinely miserable. My visit at Therapeutic Spa Massage was a life saver. I received a head to toe Traditional Chinese Massage, combined with Scraping and Cupping. I can function normally now, and I’m even back to my running routine. I definitely recommend this place for people that wants relief from back pain, and any muscle aches you have. Not only it’s affordable, but it’s worth your every penny to get relief from your muscle aches and pain.

My friend and I received gift certificates for massage from my daughter. I guess she goes there regularly. The massage was fine for us and my friend had cupping which was different. What turned me off from coming back was her demanding a tip. She said she worked for tips which would be close to slave labor. I had a 5 and a 20. So I gave her the 5 which seemed to irritate her. “TIPS” stands for “to insure prompt service”, and is given if and when someone has earned it and not asked for. Lots of places to receive a massage in this town.

Love going here, very professional & you can tell Lucy has been doing this a long time. I’ve had massages across the country traveling -for pain & she is by far one of the most competent; in-tune with your body masseuse I’ve had. She finds all the spots & knots many other masseuses miss, can’t wait to go back and see improvements.

Location is not great.I thought the lady who did the massage was the owner, she said she needed the tips.The massage was not that great, no technique, just pressure. I was trying to tell her that I have had knee surgery, but communication wasn’t great as the lady said she can’t speak English. Others may have a different experience, but I have had good massages in California.

As we thought it’s impossible to find any authentic traditional Chinese therapeutic massage in Idaho, this is the place! Lucy is absolutely a pro in this field, with a delightful and down-to-earth personality that you would enjoy. Highly recommended.

I’d rather not share my experience here in detail. It was very unconventional and weird. Wasn’t what I expected and left not feeling relaxed but more tense then when I went in. My usual place was booked and I really needed a massage so… next time I will plan ahead. The lady was nice though.
