The service was exactly what we were looking for. AV is a loctician who knows her stuff and provides excellent service. She gives recommendations, counsel, and answers questions about the process. She is exactly the type of loctician that my Son needed, that we needed. We will be repeat customers going forward. My son’s locs are over 6 months old. My locs are 11 years old and I will start going to AV for loc maintenance/retwists as well. Her location is perfect for us. Her products are great (Hydration Juice and Adjustable Bonnet), you must try them. My Son who would never wear a bonnet (he is 12, he doesn’t know any better), loves her adjustable bonnets (he calls it a cap). I will be buying more, I always like to have more than one.

Four months ago I started my loc journey. Before making this decision I knew I wanted to find someone who was knowledgeable and who would teach me how to take care of my hair properly. I am so glad I found The Loc Artistry. Amoy is awesome! She is personable, kind, and knowledgeable. She always answers my questions and makes sure my hair looks great. Her hydration juice is great. My son who is 13 wanted to begin his LOC journey. After intense Instagram research I found The Loc Artistry by AV. Turns out it happen to be pretty local to me which was great. From the moment of contact Amoy was professional, helpful and even let me send pictures of my son’s hair to see where we should start. Amoy was informative & she took the time to ask my son what was his plan for his hair. After that discussion & her expertise she was able to let us know what was best for his texture of hair. She started the process of comb coiling my son’s hair & made sure to show him what it would like it after a few just to make they were on the same page. My son was so pleased with the end result. She informed us about what to expect in the upcoming months and how to care for his hair. Bottom line she is amazing & I would recommend her to anyone choosing to start their loc journey.
