Made an appointment for 1130am and when arriving I was told that the stylist was not in. When the owner arrived she said to me that I could wait for another stylist. My reply was how long would that be? She says well there is 4 people ahead of you so around 2pm. At this point I see there is no curling iron on or any other stylist doing hair so how the hell will all these people be done by 2pm?! I left and will never go back. There was no apology for the inconvenience!! Nor any good customer service. This salon advertises like it’s upscale but it’s not! The prices are high too! Keep you money and time and go some place else!

Jeeyah did my silk press! I have really thick and looonnggg hair. I hate going to the salon because stylists typically complain about doing my hair and then try to charge me an arm and leg for the service. However, Jeeyah did not complain and seemed to enjoy doing my hair which made for a dope salon experience. I will definitely go back for my quarterly press and cut. I highly recommend her. The salon is cute, clean, glamorous. They specialize in treating hair loss, color, natural hair, weaves, braids, wigs…you name it (*in my Shirley Cesar voice)!!

Appointments be damned! Come here if you want the typical black salon experience. You know, coming on time to your afternoon appointment and not getting out until dark because your stylist is overbooked. What is the point of having us make appointments if you will take walk-ins between us? This isn’t the 1950s anymore, women have jobs and careers and don’t have time to sit in the salon for over SIX HOURS for a damn Sew in. Now I will say the ladies do beautiful work here, but so do the many other salons in this area, which won’t have you waiting for hours because of overbooking.

First time there. Would definitely go back again! My stylist was Ms. Jeeyah and she DID THAT!! Thanks so much!! The drive is WORTH IT you won’t be disappointed!! I only wish that I found them before I was moving! And it’s a Black owned company by a hardworking sista who’s love is for the betterment of hair and preventative hair loss!! Like I stated, the work by the staff is phenomenal! Please look at their FB or Instagram pages. It’s Manely Luxe located in Trenton, New Jersey. You’ll see before and after images. Amazing!!
