I attempted to make an appointment for my wife who is in a memory care facility with Southwest Michigan Dermatology doctor, Dr. Liggett, this morning,. The doctor had seen her in early June for the annual checkup and to look at an issue with her ear. The issue with the ear seems to have gotten larger and bothering her. The first available appointment was toward the end of September at 8:30 a.m. which would not work due to my wife’s living arrangements. The next available p.m. was not until the end of October. This is totally unacceptable service when a person is having a specific issue and Dr. Liggett said in June if the issue progressed or seemed to get worse to contact SWMI office. There needs to be appointments set aside for semi emergency situations. Waiting 6 or 7 weeks for an appointment is absolutely terrible and unacceptable service.

I have Never been in a medical office that was run this efficiently. Everyone I encountered was kind and courteous. ALL of the staff from docs to the greeters at the front door seem to enjoy their job. This workplace is healthy! In a time when there is so much discontent in people, this office has managed to exude a very healthy workplace! Kudos to all of you! It made my day to see so many satisfied employees!

Waited months for an opening, they were late to take me at my scheduled time, I was rushed out of the room without my questions answered and even without clear next steps. I had a terrible experience and will not be returning, and I’m upset that I wasted all this time.

This is my first time he and the care I got was excellent. They assessed my issues, kept me well informed and comfortable. The procedure itself took less than five minutes and I was out the door. Completely professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them!!

I loved the way check in is where you wait in your vehicle for your appointment. They were promptly on time & was taken right back to the exam room as soon as I stepped in the door. Dr Semmler came right in & did what needed to be done & I was on my way. He was very knowledgeable & explained things to me & I appreciate everything he did!
