Maren is truly exceptionally talented! I say this from experience, as she saved my hair from a catastrophic highlights tragedy. I was ready to go for the black dye bottle and just cover it all up. My sister introduced Maren into my life, and Maren took my embarrassing highlights and color corrected them into the most beautiful set I ever had. I could not believe my eyes, and I have never been to anyone else since. I also learned to embraced my curls thanks to her and she keeps them looking fabulous. She brings out the best in your hair. My sister and I refer to her as our “Hair Whisperer” because she knows what you want, what will work and delivers amazing results each time. I always feel fantastic after seeing Maren and walk out with the biggest smile.

Maren has been cutting, coloring, highlighting, and smoothing my mane for almost 2 years now. I am so thankful that I have finally found someone who knows how to tame my thick, curly, frizz prone hair and turn it into the smooth, flowing locks that I have always wanted. Tip: remember who the hair expert is! I listen to Maren’s advice regarding aftercare and maintenance, and book appointments regularly to keep my hair looking it’s best. I’ve ruined my hair color and texture in the past by using the harsh shampoos or getting damaging treatments that advertisements convince you to buy. Don’t do that. Take Maren’s advice, she has years and years of experience and really teaches you how to get the lovely hair you always wanted -by babying it, and keeping up with appointments. Also, her smoothing treatment is amazeballs, and has cut down my styling time immensely! Highly recommend it!

Usually I’m not a 5 Star Rating type, but this made my day, and I appreciate it a lot, and I’ll briefly explain why — initially, I walked past Emerald Salon’s window, and loooved their lighting…I looked down, and noticed my old colleague sitting in one of the 3 chairs. I came inside, started chatting with her…she introduced me to her stylist [Maren], and I literally sat down for a cut and color. Bought a little Davines product from her too. As soon as I get to the office, I get 2 compliments on my hair!! “MAGIC MAREN” is what I am calling her from now on! XX
