Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueHorrible experience! Unprofessional and unsanitary! First time going to Radiance Nails and Spa and it is the last! I got a pedicure and acrylic nails done and I am a unhappy with the results. They tried to use a dirty old purple foot scrubber on my feet that was used on another customer. Gross! The two nail technicians did not know I am fluent in Vietnamese and was talking badly about the customers. I do not know what American names they go by, but the names on their licenses is HUYEN and TIEN. When I asked for stiletto and matte black nails because I was going to a halloween event, they did not know what I was talking about. Huyen asked her co worker Tien and they both were clueless about it. While doing my nails the two nail technicians insulted me in Vietnamese. Huyen cut me twice and put acrylic nail powder on the cut to prevent it from bleeding! Unevenly painted my nails and smeared the black nail polish on my skin. She did a bad job. Tien stood next to us and told Huyen, “Just do an ugly job on her nails, she is going to pay us anyways!” She then turn to me and asked in a unpleasant tone, “Halloween? Ha?! ” They both laughed and was very immature. I could not take it anymore and spoke up because they were being rude. I understood everything. The nail technicians immediately got scared and denied what they said. I told Huyen to stop doing my nails, wanted pay and leave. She grabbed my arm and bag when I stood up. Forcing me to sit down so she can finish my nails. I told her, “No. I feel uncomfortable and no longer want the service.” Huyen yanked my arm and wanted to cut the nails off. At that point, I had enough. I asked to speak to the owner because of what Huyen and Tien did. Then, Karen called the cops on me. I waited for the cops to arrive. They lied and accused me of hitting the nail technicians??? There’s proof on camera, I did not do that. Got the information of the nail technicians from the officer and found out Huyen’s license is expired and not valid! The officer suggested I report them to the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Couple of days later my pinky was swollen from an infection from the dirty tools. Wow. What a nightmare! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueRadiance Nail is the best. Everyone is so welcoming and the salon is very clean. They take covid-19 sanitation very seriously and I felt comfortable with the extra safety precautions there. Amy is such a sweetheart and made my nails beach ready.
