We are a locally owned men and women’s salon. We have all been in the business in the magic valley for over 15 years . Lux opened 9 years ago, we always try to do the best and learn the best techniques. All of our stylist specialize in everything that they do. If there’s something that we can’t do we offer you every option and direct you into the direction that you need to be. We have men stylist that only specialize in men’s hair. We specialize in color corrections in hair extensions. We have experience with every type of hair.. our nail tech offers pretty much everything that you can imagine. We look forward to seeing you guys the atmosphere here is open and fun and professional. We can’t wait to meet you.

I didn’t get the chance to visit this place. It seems this place is busy enough that no one had time to answer their phone on the same day that I called. I received a call back 2 days later, and missed their call because I was at work. When I called back, and left a message again, no one ever returned my call. This place may be popular for those who comes here often. But customer service for possibly new clients seems poor. Why 1 star? Because at least they made an effort to call me back 2 days later. Maybe if I get hair extensions I will get quick response…..

Jaycee, just did my hunnys braids and they came out sooo good. She did such a cool design with them also! Then a couple weeks later I went in and got my haircut and some blonde put in. She got me to the color I wanted without killing my hair. My hair was sooo soft and so beautiful after! Hands down one of the best! Made me feel like a whole new woman!

Called for a consultation and when I came in no one knew I had an appt. The consult was done by a stylist who was in the process of doing another clients hair. She asked to message her with my name and number and she would send me a link to her appt book which never happed. Extremely disappointed with their services at their new location

I have nothing but good things to say about this salon and Melinda. From the time you walk in you feel welcome and they let you know how long your wait is, the atmosphere is great too. I had something specific I wanted done with my hair and Melinda achieved that while still keeping the integrity of my hair. She knows what she’s doing and she does it well!
