I have some weird cowlick thing with my hair and she’s the only person I’ve ever had who knows how to cut it properly! Though not as decked out as some of the local boutique salons, don’t let that fool you. This is clean and cute little chain salon. Despite being the most affordable option in the area, the service is also incredible.

After 2 back to back BAD hair fails at Symmetry salon in Gaithersburg, I’d spent all my money and decided to see if another cut would help me like my God awful hair a little better. I walked into hair cuttery looking for a cheap fix, but had specifically asked for Fery, after seeing her mentioned in a review (thanks Google!). She looked at my head and gasped, and immeditly rescheduled me for a longer timeslot to save me… when I say she has totally changed my confidence, it’s no understatement. This was the color I walked into Symmetry Salon with a photo of, and only she was able to mix the right colors and get it perfect… the first photos are before, and the red is obviously after. I reccomend Fery 10/10… I’ve never had someone I’ve been able to definitively say is MY hair person from here on out, not until now! THANK YOU FERY!!

I’m new to living in Lakelands and was nervous about trying a new stylist. I liked what the site said about their cuts and the prices so I made an appointment. I was given Yasmin and what and wonderful experience I had. Yasmin is exceptionally friendly, asking questions about how I like my hair worn, and as she was cutting making sure I was getting what I wanted. I am so glad I gave Hair Cuttery a try – I will definitely now be going back to Yasmin for my haircuts from now on.

This place is fine if you want a cheaper haircut but don’t expect to love it unless you book one of the higher priced stylists. I just went in for a cut and layering with the first available stylist, it’s really bad. The layers are so choppy and don’t blend into the rest of my hair on one side and the other side is perfect. I should really go have them fix it so I can wear my hair down.

Do not bring your kids here, even if you make an appointment. They are so nasty and rude, won’t cut your kits hair if they have adult clients. I have been coming here for at least three times, everytime I noticed the biased and disregard. This time they took it too far and I just walked out.

Yasmine is the absolute best. I went in to get my hair fixed from a bad hair coloring and she was a magician. I’ve been going to her for years now and this review is long overdue. She is a very skilled colorist and great with my cuts. If you go here I’d recommend her. Overall a great store of kind and welcoming women. As a picky and particular person, I trust Yasmine’s skills even if I’m doing something risky.

Never go here. Your child will leave in tears as mine did. We are new to the area and haven’t found a professional salon yet and were in a pinch and needed to get a haircut so I figured how bad could it be? Spoiler alert it was a million times worse that I ever imagined. I’ve been to hair cutteries in the past and never had a terrible experience like this one. I made an appointment and went in with a photo of how her hair was a few months ago and described how she had an undercut in the back and whoever the stylist basically yeah yeahed me and told me to go sit down then proceeded to IGNORE EVERYTHING I just said. She gave her a fade and cut the top so short. It looked NOTHING like the picture. I realize there may have been a language barrier, however, a photo does not have that same barrier. If your stylists can’t follow a customers request then they shouldn’t be practicing the trade. Please do not reply apologizing and asking me to contact you. It will never happen and there is nothing you can do to mitigate the damage you caused…only time and for a preteen that’s like an eternity. I’m simply putting this out there to help my fellow neighbors that may or may not be new to the area.
