Today I had my first and last experience with Great Clips. I drew Hazel and showed her a photo so she could see how I wanted my hair cut. She grabbed her big clippers, slapped on an attachment and went to town. The absolute best thing I can say about my experience with Hazel is that when she asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed I said “no”. One star is marked because I assume a rating is required in order to enter comments; it should be considered generous.

Terrible haircuts. Don’t go to this location! I’ve never had such bad experiences with great clips until this specific location. I got a haircut, was supposed to get 2 inches off and told the lady once I take my glasses off I cannot see. So she showed me the two inches she was going to cut off. I was ok with it bc it looked like about two inches. Took my glasses off, once I put them back on she had cut off ten inches and gave me very uneven layer.

I checked in online. My wait time was shorter than anticipated. I went in at noon on a Friday and was helped immediately. Kathryn was great! I asked for a layered women’s haircut. I was nervous about going somewhere new. I was extremely happy with my cut. She did a great job and was very nice. I will definitely go back and ask for Kathryn again. The salon was clean. There was hand sanitizer at the front counter. They have an area where you can purchase products in the front. There was plenty of room to social distance in the waiting area as well. I definitely recommend this location.

I went in asking for a trim of 1.5 inches. This lady cut my hair which she when she was pulling my hair, it was so painful and proceeded to tell me that’s just she had “to get the hair aligned”. She used a razor to cut my hair, and it must have been uneven and she kept cutting. She cut more than 5 inches of my hair and my hair is very valuable to me. Even then, the hair is not even with the U shape that I requested. I would never recommend this place to anyone else. You have to cut according to what the client/customer wants. And don’t be saying that there’s a lot of split ends/y shiny hair. Her comments on my hair were so unnecessary. DO NOT GO HERE.
