Similar to a recent post by Mr Derwin, my 7 year old son was refused service today. We were two minutes past a grace period (see my Yelp review), due to the fact that my son got his hand slammed in a car door. He was fine after getting some ice and looking forward to a back to school haircut. I wouldn’t normally take the time to make these reviews, but both Diego at the front desk and the manager were incredibly rude and demonstrated a marked lack of empathy. Additionally, my Yelp review was marked ‘funny’ immediately by a staff member and a likely bunch of his friends. If I was looking for a place to take my child and came across this review, I’d be grateful.

This was easily the worst haircut from a barbershop I’ve ever received rude staff, and it costed 40 dollars. Way too overpriced. I don’t remember the name of the lady I got my cut from but I kept telling her I wanted my hair a certain way and she couldn’t figure it out. I got home and there were so many mistakes I noticed on my hair. Also, every time I made the slightest move in my head she would tell me to hold still, as if she was incapable of cutting hair on a living person. Do not recommend unless you want to waste your money.

probably one of the worst cuts ive ever gotten. i asked for a 1/2 on the side tapered down and to blend the top. the barber proceeded to cut my hair. when finished i noticed the sides were really long still and asked what he did on the sides he replied a 2 here, 3 here, 4 here. i was super confused and realized he probably didnt know how to do a proper taper fade so didnt want to risk it. so much more of the cut was bad but the above was what stood out the most.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Guy got mad that I asked him to take off more when he showed me the mirror because “now he’s gotta do the cut all over again”. Left me covered in hair and had the audacity to charge me $34 tip excluded. Highway robbery. Don’t waste your time here, go somewhere else. Haircut

So I have been off and on with Floyd’s and I think that’s why I am going with a 1 star rating. This is the 3rd time myself or my kids have received a cut that I had to go home and clean up. Attention to detail is important when there is any buzz or lineups and my son was left with uneven sideburns and a patch of missing hair in front of his face! I will never go back to Floyd’s again. 34 dollars for me to have to go home and fix it and an upset kid. Stop rushing and just because there are kids doesn’t mean that you can pay any less attention to the details!!! Especially when you charged for an adult cut. My son is upset
