I’m trying to figure out how to word this because I think Lisa is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does, though I feel bedside manner could be slightly improved. I don’t want to give a bad review, however I think it’s equally as important for consumers to know what they’re getting from an experience as I was caught off guard and a little disappointed.

Unfortunately, I’m not surprised to hear of the other bad experiences I’m reading. While Lisa is a wonderful person, she did unilaterally decide to NOT honor my last two Groupon appointments. Also, her IPL machine is frequently not functioning. (Response: Nope, definitely happened and I’m not some bot). Flesh and blood.

My grandma was completely SCAMMED by this business. She bought 2 appointments for her and her friend through Groupon; one appointment for 10am and one at 12pm. The owner called my grandma the morning of her appointments saying she was very sick and could not get to work that day and cancelled the appointment. My grandma asked to reschedule and the owner said no, she doesn’t want any more new clients. Okay. A few days go by and my grandma sees a $110 charge on her DEBIT card (not the card she used to purchase through Groupon?) . She called to ask why she got charged and the lady says “you didn’t show up to your 12 o’clock appointment”. WHY WOULD SHE SHOW UP TO AN APPOINTMENT THAT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO A SEVERE ILLNESS!??!!?? If you’re too sick for your 10am how would you miraculously get better bf noon??? The owner refused to refund the charge and my grandma is seeking legal action. Pathetic business total scam.

Horrible customer service! I was unable to make an appointment due to testing positive for COVID and was told too bad we are still charging you because I didn’t give them “enough time to fill my appointment”. She was extremely rude, inconsiderate and unnecessarily condescending. It is ridiculous to have a zero tolerance policy for cancellations beyond a persons control. She even went so far as to say it doesn’t matter if you were in a car accident, I have a business to run and I’d still charge you but then you can schedule another appointment. Seriously??? And they charged me for MORE than the ridiculous supposed policy dictates, how is that good customer service??? And lastly it was clear that using a Groupon was frowned upon, if you don’t like Groupon customers then get you offer off their site rather than making customers feel inferior for purchasing the package.

I have had laser treatments before at other places. Both were painful, but that was expected. At Esthetica – virtually painless! Lisa is a professional and very easy to talk to. She fully informed me about her machine and and the process involved. Lisa is super sweet and takes pride in her work. This is the only place to go! A+ all the way around.
