Haven’t had a pedicure since before the pandemic and decided to try my first gel pedicure. After reading the reviews of many salons, I decided to give Coco’s a try. I called and asked if they were taking walk-ins and was told if I could get there soon, yes. Got there in about 15 minutes and there was no real wait. The lady who did my pedicure was professional and thorough. The place got very busy while I was there and I watched as they were meticulous in cleaning and sanitizing after each customer. Pricey but so worth it for the pleasant experience. I highly recommend this salon after a long search. This will be my go to spot!

A really good, consistent manicure experience. Every time I come here, I know I will leave with nails I can be proud of- no chipping or peeling, long-lasting, clean and careful work. The owner/manager is always so friendly and giving his staff a helping hand. The salon is clean every time, and you can tell the owner and his staff take pride in their work. Mary – I think that was the name of my nail tech – gave me the best mani pedi I’ve had in years. My regular toe polish is still flawless after over a month. My gel mani lasted about two weeks, maybe more before i started taking them off due to chipping and nail breaking. Will be going back next week when I’m back in NYC!

Update: 3 years later and I have not gone to another salon! I had to switch from Blanca to Marcelina due to a work schedule change, but I couldn’t be happier. Marcelina is amazing and so skilled and kind. I also have to say that Joon, the owner, is fantastic. I have observed him for years and how he treats his staff. I’ve seen him go above and beyond, putting their needs first and helping himself with pedicures when needed. Happy to support this business!!

Giving a 1 star review because the customer service was horrible. I called at 4:05 to ask if they had availability for a mani pedi, the gentlemen who answers the phone said yes so I traveled 30 minutes to the salon and got in the chair (which I’m currently sitting in). So the tech doing my pedi asks me if I’m doing a mani pedi and I said yes, she gets up and says something to the gentlemen and he continues to come over and ask if I had gel on my nails which I replied yea and he gave me the most exaggerated eye roll that was not needed. Me being me I asked why the attitude and he didn’t know what to say. I will not be getting a manicure after this pedicure is over and I recommend you go to one of the many other nail salons in NYC.
